Young Talents Escoffier 

It’s the home stretch for all delegations before the International final in Nice on April 1st, 2022.

These finals sound the big return of the face-to-face cooking contests that we missed so much!

 

France National Final Pays 2021

The National Final of the France Jeunes Talents Escoffier Championship will be held on November 26, 2021 at the Ecole Hôtelière d'Avignon.
The 8 teams will compete around the theme of the rabbit for the kitchen and citrus for the service. 

Organised by Patrick Guat, International Vice President Zone France and the its contest comitee.

The contestants: 

Alsace Grand Est: Marion Trindel in the kitchen and Killian Rebel for the service. CFPPA Illkirch.

Grand Lyon Ain Loire: Anais Esteve in the kitchen and Ivan Uzel for the service.

Switzerland National Final 2021 

The Young Talent Escoffier National Swiss Finals will take place on 2 October 2021 in Lenzburg.
The teams will compete around the theme of the "Plat d'automne chaud de gibier et de légumes anciens"pour for the kitchen and «Côte d'Azur» for the service. 
Organised by Pierre Alain Favre, Country Swizerland President and  International Vice President Zone Europe and its contest comitee.

Master Auguste Escoffier's 175th Anniversary Celebration

On the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the birth of the great master of French gastronomy, epicureans from all over the world will gather on the evening of October 28 under a single menu, the same ambition; the same dreamed 109 years earlier by «the cook of the Kings and the King of the cooks».
On that day, in more than 30 countries, thousands of people will toast Auguste Escoffier and French Gastronomy.

News from our delegations

Zone France - Hauts de France Delegation

Tuesday, September 14, at the Horesta show (reserved for catering professionals), this beautiful team hosted the IME DU DOUAISI "Papillions blancs" (workers with disabilities) for culinary demonstrations.
On the menu: realization of a lemon and elderberry flower cupcake, pistachio and morello cupcake and a Forest Cup, to the delight of their supervisors. It was a very friendly and very rewarding moment of sharing for them. 

Zone France - Disciples Escoffier Provence Méditerranée

A literary season for this delegation as well, several Disciples chefs participated in the elaboration of a book entitled «Quatre saisons en Provence: de la nature à l'art de la Gastronomie» at Editions Marc Cres.

Zone Americas - Canada Delegation

A much-anticipated chapter took place on September 15 in Montreal.
A new President took up the torch given by Jean Paul Grappe, it is the owner chief Helena Loureiro who worked wonderfully for the rebirth of a beautiful delegation.

New temporary exhibition of the Escoffier Museum of Culinary Art:
«Auguste Escoffier, un humaniste» from 11 Sept. 2021 to 31 Oct. 2022 

Organized as part of Auguste Escoffier's 175th birth anniversary celebration (to be held on October 28, 2021), the Museum has decided to dedicate its new temporary exhibition to the social and humanist commitment of Chef Auguste Escoffier.
Auguste Escoffier has acquired a worldwide reputation for having codified and modernized French cuisine, giving it an international influence. He rationalized the tasks in the kitchen and worked continuously to improve working conditions. Beyond this image of the «king of cooks, cook of kings» Auguste Escoffier was a humanist and a precursor, as evidenced by his numerous initiatives in the fields of transmission and learning, mutual and provident care, and the fight against pauperism. A less well-known facet of the general public, his altruism will guide his actions throughout his life.

Documentary «Auguste Escoffier: une vision sociale»

Fabrice Roy invites you to discover in the documentary-conference «Auguste Escoffier: une vision sociale», this man of heart, whose life went through two wars in the middle of the industrial revolution.

This unpublished documentary was specially designed for this exhibition by Fabrice Roy and will be broadcast until October 31, 2022 at the Museum.

As part of the Fêtes Gourmandes Escoffier, a screening followed by a conference took place on September 12, 2021 at 3 pm at the Auguste Escoffier Cultural Centre in Villeneuve-Loubet
